The Everest Base Camp Pass Trek begins with an exhilarating mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a scenic walk through the lush Dudh Koshi Valley to Phakding and onward to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant heart of the Khumbu region. After proper acclimatization and exploration around Namche, the trail diverts toward the quieter and more remote Gokyo Valley, passing through Dole and Machhermo before reaching the stunning Gokyo Lakes.

A highlight of the trek is the ascent of Gokyo Ri (5,350 m), which rewards trekkers with panoramic views of four 8,000-meter peaks—Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The adventure intensifies as the route crosses the icy and challenging Cho La Pass (5,420 m), linking Gokyo with the classic Everest Base Camp trail at Dzongla.

From here, the journey continues through Lobuche and Gorakshep to reach Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). A sunrise hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m) provides the best close-up view of Mount Everest. The return journey descends through Pheriche and Namche Bazaar, completing a rewarding circuit trek that offers diverse landscapes, rich culture, and high-altitude adventure.
